Rambox is a an app that allows you to connect multiple social media sites into one application.
Let's say you want to manage multiple social media sites at the same time. To do this normally you'd need to login to each site from your browser. Well, you don't have to, with Rambox you can integrate all social media sites that you use on daily basis, and then instead of logging in to each site manually, you can access them directly from Rambox.
Rambox is a very useful app to use, especially if you use a lot of different social media sites, whether for chatting or for work.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to install Rambox on Linux Mint.
Step 1 - Download Rambox
Rambox supports multiple Linux distros. In this tutorial, we need to download the Deb binary file in order to install it on Linux Mint.
To download Rambox, we are going to use wget
wget https://github.com/ramboxapp/download/releases/download/v2.1.5/Rambox-2.1.5-linux-x64.deb
Once rambox deb binary file has been downloaded, you can move on to the next step to install it.
Step 2 - Install Rambox
Now, we can install the deb binary file that we downloaded. To install Rambox, we can use the default package manager on Linux Mint.
On the same terminal window where you downloaded the deb file, run the command below to install Rambox
sudo apt install ./Rambox-2.1.5-linux-x64.deb -y
Step 3 - Launch Rambox
After installing Rambox, you can start using it. To launch rambox, go to Applications Menu, and type "Rambox" on the search box, and then simply click to "Rambox" icon
And you should see Rambox GUI as shown in the image below
Step 4 - Connect social media sites
Now you can proceed to connect your social media accounts with Rambox.
To connect a social media account is very easy, simply click to the "+" button, and search for the social media that you want to add, next click to its icon that appears on the right at "All apps" section
Then click to the "+ Add" button
And the icon of the social media should appear on the sidebar
