In this tutorial, you will learn how to install fedora workstation on your computer. Fedora workstation is a very stable and reliable linux distro that you can use for anything.

Fedora comes with gnome desktop environment but it also offers a wide variety of different desktop flavors that you can choose, such as : XFCE, KDE, Mate-compiz, Budgie, Cinnamon, lxde, i3, lxqt phosh and sway.

Boot into Fedora Workstation

Get into your computer's boot menu, and then choose the device that you have Fedora on it. Next, you should see this screen. Choose the first option " Start Fedora-Workstation-Live 38" to start installing fedora.

Install Fedora

This is the first window you will see once Fedora boots up. Click "Install Fedora" to begin installing it

Next, select the language and click the continue button

After choosing the language, the installation summary window will show up. You need to finish setting up each option showed on this window.

Set the keyboard layout by clicking the Keyboard button

Set time and date by clicking the Time & Date button

Choose the type of installation by clicking the Installation Destination button

Once you configure all options above, the button "Begin Installation" will be active, click on it to start installing Fedora

Once the installation finishes, click the "Finish Installation" button to reboot Fedora and start using it

Now you can continue setting up Fedora. Click "Start setup" button to continue

Choose if you want to keep the location on and use automatic problem reporting feature

Click "Enable Third-party Repositories" if you want to have access to more packages that you can download on your system, and click Next to continue

In this step you can connect your accounts. However, this step is optional so you can skip if you want.

Set the fullname and username of the account that you'll be using on this system

Choose a password for the username that you set earlier

Now, you should be able to use your new system.

Simply click the "Start using Fedora Linux" button as shown in the image above, and enjoy it.
